Mike Deery

Strategic Account Executive

Mike brings more than 20 years of experience driving strategic growth and building trusted partnerships across the public and private sectors. For 13 of those years his focus has been helping agencies navigate complex software and technology decisions with clarity, preparation, and a customer-first mindset.

Prior to joining National Public Safety Group, Mike served as Vice President & General Manager of the UC&T Division at Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure and as Director of Sales for the Western Region Public Safety portfolio. In these roles, he worked closely with agencies across California and the Western United States, supporting Chiefs, Sheriffs, CIOs, IT leaders, dispatchers, Communications Center Managers, and operational teams as they evaluated and implemented mission-critical CAD, RMS, JMS, and mobile solutions—both on-premises and in the cloud.

Mike has extensive experience guiding agencies through high-impact procurement processes, RFP evaluations, modernization initiatives, and long-term technology roadmaps. His approach centers on earning trust, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring agencies make informed decisions that strengthen operational readiness and community safety.

Earlier in his career, Mike held strategic sales and leadership roles with Xerox, Dell Technologies, and W.W. Grainger, where he supported federal, state, local, and commercial clients while building high-performing teams and delivering measurable growth.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Marketing) from Towson University and a Master’s degree in Marketing and Strategy from the University of Baltimore. He has also pursued graduate-level coursework in Homeland Security & Public Safety at the Texas A&M Bush School of Government, further deepening his commitment to serving public safety professionals.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, staying active outdoors in Colorado through hiking, biking, and skiing, and attending live music events at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
