Amy Smith started her career in Public Safety as a Telecommunicator with the City of New Bern Police Department, where she supported law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services by receiving and dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls. She later advanced into CAD administration and supervisory roles, supporting consolidated dispatch environments and working closely with agencies to configure, maintain, and optimize Computer-Aided Dispatch systems.

Amy continued her career in Public Safety software by working at Tier 0/1 providers as a Business Analyst, Trainer, QA Specialist, and Solutions Consultant, supporting CAD implementations, system training, workflow analysis, and operational consulting for agencies across the country. With more than 20 years of experience, she brings a strong operational perspective to every engagement, helping agencies implement software solutions that support officer safety, effective emergency response, and confident decision-making.

In her spare time, Amy enjoys puzzles, ancestry, deal-shopping, travel, cruises, spending time in the mountains, and making memories with her dog, friends, and family.
